RE/MAX is growing the company’s global presence, recently announcing expansion plans in China.

This year also marked RE/MAX’s entry into Morocco, Thailand, and the Philippines, and with the addition of RE/MAX China, the franchise real estate company now boasts branches in 85 countries worldwide.
Franchise rights have been sold for China’s Mainland, Hong Kong, and Macau, and the ownership group for RE/MAX China
will be headquartered in Hong Kong. In an official release on the company’s decision to move forward in China, RE/MAX noted that the ownership “has extensive experience in real estate, banking, financing, and franchising.”
“We’ve been looking for the right leadership team to match the outstanding caliber of our other international franchise owners and we now have that team,” said RE/MAX president Vinnie Tracey.
“This group has the experience and commitment to make RE/MAX a success in China and to bring the professionalism and quality customer service associated with RE/MAX to the Chinese people,” added Tracey.
RE/MAX’s Chinese franchise owners traveled to the company’s base in Denver, Colorado, over the summer, where the group was recognized during a flag-raising ceremony.
Issuing a formal statement, RE/MAX’s new Chinese partners noted, “The people of China have a dream of home ownership, and our goal is to help them reach their dream with the highest quality customer service. If we do this, we can become the #1 real estate franchise in China.”
